Multi-Culture Fest

On January 20, 2026, NUML Mirpur Campus successfully organized its Languages & Multi-Culture Fest, a vibrant celebration of global traditions, cultural diversity, and international heritage. The event provided an academic and interactive platform for various language departments, including the Korean Language & Culture Islamabad King Sejong Institute, to promote linguistic diversity and intercultural understanding among students and the wider community.

The Korean Language & IKSI Culture stall emerged as a focal point of the festival, offering visitors an engaging introduction to Korea’s rich cultural heritage and contemporary global influence. Participants enthusiastically took part in a traditional Korean archery game (Tuho), experiencing Korean culture through interactive learning. In addition, comprehensive information was provided regarding admissions, scholarship opportunities, and the academic and professional scope of the Korean language, highlighting its growing global relevance and career prospects. More than 600 visitors visited the stall, expressing great appreciation for the cultural displays and actively engaging with faculty by asking numerous questions about the language, culture, and academic opportunities.

The festival was graced by Ch. Muhammad Saeed, Former Minister for Sports, Youth & Culture, and Umer Shehzad, President of MCCI, who commended the students and faculty for their dedicated efforts in fostering cultural harmony and bridging intercultural gaps through meaningful academic initiatives.
